when clothes seem like such a frivolous thing

i wanted to take a moment to just jot down a few things about what’s happened in the world today. i want to make sure that everyone who reads this blog has access to the same information on how to help if they are able to do so. 

if you are interested in donating to any relief funds for japan, here is a brief list of some of the participating organizations:

1. You can text “Japan” to 80888 to donate $10 to Salvation Army efforts.  They can visit mobilecause.com for terms and conditions and should respond “Yes” to a “Thank you” message they receive. Alternatively, you can visit salvationarmy.org
2. You can text “Redcross” to 90999 to donate $10, or visit redcross.org
3. You can donate through Oxfam America.
4. You can donate through Worldvision.
5. Also, please pass along the link to the google person finder. Someone may be looking for a loved one or have information on someone.
